从上述的研究来看,未来语言的变化受社会阶层和地位的影响并不是很大。虽然现在有些国家xxx依然动荡,但即使出现新的地域划分和民族,世界一体化下的语言系统的影响还是占主导地位。而男女两个不同主体上语言的差别还将长期存在,即使现在普遍女性地位都有所提高,两者在语言上的感情色彩的差别还将极大地影响语言的变异。而从个人来说,年龄差异在语言变异中的体现一直都是相对稳定的。种族上体现的语言差异也将一直存在,随着种族人口的社会活动而发生改变。

Some people think that the best way to advise people is simply to find what they want and help them attain it? In my view, this method is generally not the best way to proceed in advising others; it ignores the plain truth that many people do not know what they want and do not know what is best for them.
My main reason for rejecting this technique is that people very rarely have any clear idea of what they want. This applies not only to consumer items such as clothing, cars and luxury items but also to what they want out of life in general. In fact, numerous studies have shown that most people cannot list the ten things they want most out of life, even if given considerable time to think about it.
My second reason for rejecting this method is that more often than not what people want is not what is best for them. Parents continually face this problem when advising their children. For example, suppose a child wants to quit school and get a job. Surely, the parents would be derelict in helping their child attain this want instead of convincing the child that continuing education would be in his or her best interest.
Admittedly, following the proposed advising method would result in a high rate of compliance, since the person being advised would act consistently with his or her own will by following the advice. However, as noted above, acting according to what one wants is not necessarily desirable. Proponents of this method might also point to college counselors as models of this technique. However, college counselors should not necessarily be held up as models for advising people generally, let alone as models for advising students.

Idioms universally exist in every language. An Idiom is a word or an expression that cannot be literally translated from the source language into the target language because its idiomatic meaning cannot be understood by literally defining its component parts.(Background) In a broad sense, idioms contain set phrases, proverbs, colloquialisms, slangs, maxims, allusions, etc. (YinLi, 2007:9) In Chinese, they also include enigmatic folk similes. Newmark, a British translation theorist, in his work A Textbook of Translation, said, "I define as culture the way of life and his manifestation that are peculiar to a community that uses a peculiar language as its means of expression. 英文论文摘要格式
一、英文论文摘要的种类
摘要主要有三种:学术论文摘要,学术会议摘要及由专门摘要撰写者撰写的摘要。
本文主要探讨学术论文英文摘要。本文所选英文摘要例子均引自国内外语类核心期刊,以体现该研究对象的代表性。Arbor认为,根据撰写方法的不同,学术论文摘要主要有两种:一种是结果式摘要。这种摘要围绕研究发现结果为中心而撰写,有时会附带写上基于发现结果而得出的结论;另外一种是总结陈述式摘要,即对所撰写论文的总结陈述。
还需要注意的是,这片摘要并没有在研究结果的基础上写出据此得出的结论。选择何种方法撰写摘要,主要根据论文内容所属的研究类型和所采取的研究方法而定。本文认为,一般情况下,采用定量研究方法的论文摘要多为“结果式”;采用定性研究方法的'论文摘要多为“总结陈述式”。
二、英文摘要的结构要素
黄国文将英文摘要的结构要素归纳为六个:主题阐述、背景信息、目的陈述、方法论和语料、研究结果、发现和研究所带来的启示和结论,并指出并非所有的论文摘要都完全包括这六个要素,“事实上,一些成分是必选的,而其他成分是可有可无的”。
Slade也认为,“一篇摘要必须包括简明扼要的主题阐述,主要发现及意义,还有结论”。“摘要中一定要有方法和论文内容的重要词句,这样,此篇摘要才会在电脑中被搜索到,进而让读者决定是否阅读”。所以,在撰写摘要时,要根据具体的论文明确判断哪些要素是摘要必须包括的。

时态上,摘要也具有其自身的特点。Arbor认为,表示总结的语句通常与一般现在时或现在完成时;表示结果的语句可用过去时。Arbor还指出,“现在时态用于表示结果的语句这一情况通常易发生在自然科学领域而少发生在社会科学领域”。“主观用语的使用也易发生在自然科学领域”。
四、英文论文摘要的书写方法
摘要是论文内容的简要陈述,是一篇完整的、可以独立使用的短文,因而必须具有自含性。即:读者即使不阅读论文的全文也可以从摘要中获得必要的、与论文等量的信息,以判断有无必要阅读全文。摘要一般应包括研究题目的选择理由和目的;研究的方法或者过程;研究的发现或者成果。

英文主标题格式:可选用本模板中的样式所定义的“论文英文主标题”,或手动设置(Times New Roman,四号,加粗,居中,段前段后均为0行,单倍行距)。

行间距的距离,对英语单词的距离要把握好,每个单词要留有一个单词的间隔,在句子和句子之间要留有两个字母间隔。
作文题目的写法,在第一行中间写题目,题目左右两侧空白处大致相同。
题首字首字母必须大写。每一个实义词的首字母大写,从第二个单词开始通常是小写。
英语写作技能:
要学会构思不要着急下笔,仔细地思考问题。
认真阅读题目所需要的内容。构思一幅图画,确定一篇文章的中心思想,不能匆忙下笔,要看懂题意、依据、图表、提纲或短文所提供的资料和信息。
言语清晰,表达准确。
不要说汉语式英语,尽量用熟悉的句型。多个句型可以交替使用,避免重复和生硬。

“巧妇难为无米之炊”,初中阶段学习的语法尚比较简单,学生的英语水平或者说考试成绩的高低更多的是决定于词汇量的大小。在日常的单词学习中,学生总是孤立地将单词的拼写和词义对应起来背诵,十分生硬,记忆难度大且容易遗忘。实践证明,通过记忆整个句子来记忆单词的作用及用法的策略效率更高,记忆也比较长久,而英语歌词不仅简短押韵朗朗上口,还配有悦耳的曲调,边听边记,心情也会变好。可见,听英文歌曲对于学生在短期内高效记忆英语单词具有重要作用。比如“Get”这一高频词,其作用很多(有“得到、变得、使得”等),用法也很灵活:,单纯通过讲解学生很难分清其在各个语境中的用法。但是放到句子中去理解就容易得多。如在Blue的《Get Down》这首歌中,就使用了“Get”的多种用法:“If you wanna get down with me”中应译为“变得”,整句意为“和我一起”;在“before you get the wrong impression on your mind”中为“得到”之意;在“We can get back what we had you cannot deny it”中意为“使得”。整句的记忆更给学生留下比较深刻的理解,而多个用法集中出现又有了比较的对象,这样的学一首歌就能记得3个意思,效率很高。而通常整首歌中都会出现个别生词,所以学生也渐渐加深了对这些单词的印象,增大了词汇量。
Many people believe that a test of spoken English is necessary for students, but others don't agree. Some students might think they will not need to speak English in the future. I don't agree with these students, having a test of spoken English is necessary. The reasons are as follows.
Firstly, most students might go abroad if they have a chance. Therefore, only speaking English very well can they communicate with foreigners. Secondly, it is common that a person is good at written English but spoken English is bad. They will often practise spoken English if they have some tests about it. Thirdly, you need to communicate with foreign customers when you enter a big company in the future.
As far as I am concerned, it is important for us to have a test of spoken English. It can help us to improve our English.
There is an old saying that two heads are better than one, which suggests that the majority’s collective wisdom always dwarfs that of the minority, let alone any individual. There are people who believe that for a society to cohere there must be a strong consensus as well as unity and discipline. Therefore we must not overemphasize the importance of critical thinking which is abound to result in confusion and quarrels.
But I don’t agree with this. First, I have no respect for majority’s wisdom. I believe that most people do not usually use their heads, they are also lack of creativity, and therefore are ignorant and prejudiced and often become mobs and stampede easily. Second, anyone who has the creativity will have an important impact on our society. But their wisdom is usually different from the majority’s.
In a word, everything has two sides. What’s more important is that to learn knowledge from different kinds of wisdom and to improve our ability.
Our world would be a lot better today if the world powers devoted half as much money and effort squandered in space programs to the most needed places. The space race is a huge waste of money.
As the most curious being in the world, man is always keen on exploration. With the earth having been fully explored, the next logical target for man is definitely the space.
Several countries now are engaged in the space exploration, which is fun, and which fires our imagination. Of course, they are not doing it just for fun, but also for seeking answers to the following provocative questions: How was a planet formed? What is the essence of life? Are there any extraterrestrial beings as intelligent as or even more intelligent than humankind elsewhere in the universe? If this is the case, can we set up communication with them? Can man find a better planet to live on? If so, is mass-emigration from the overpopulated earth to such a planet possible? For only scores of years as space projects have been proceeding, we have already achieved quite a few encouraging results, and have benefited a lot from such programs-crystals, drugs or chemicals produced under zero gravity, satellite communications, manned space vehicles and stations, to name just a few.
Yet, some less curious and less ambitious people perceive such endeavour in a less positive way. They call space exploration as space race , deeming it to be an extension of the race for power on earth and a pure waste of money. I don t want to comment on such a short-sighted argument, but at least no one should impose restrictions on man s desire for knowledge. If space research helps us gain better understanding of the working mechanism of the universe, of our earth and of our origins, there is no sound reason why anyone should go against it.

Abstract
Business negotiations under different cultural conditions are cultural negotiations. With the development of economic globalization and frequent business contacts, cultural differences have become very important. If they are neglected, they could cause unnecessary misunderstanding, or even undermine the result of business negations. 一、英语论文的标题
打印时,如无特殊要求,每一行均需double space,即隔行打印,行距约为(论文其他部分行距同此)。
就学生而言,如果英语论文篇幅较短,亦可不做标题页(及提纲页),而将标题页的内容打在正文第一页的左上方。
接下来便是论文标题及正文(日期与标题之间及标题与正文第一行之间只需隔行打印,不必留出更多空白)。
二、英语论文提纲
英语论文提纲页包括论题句及提纲本身,其规范格式如下:先在第一行(与打印纸顶端的距离仍为左右)的始端打上 Thesis 一词及冒号,空一格后再打论题句,回行时左边须与论题句的第一个字母上下对齐。
主要纲目以大写罗马数字标出,次要纲目则依次用大写英文字母、阿拉伯数字和小写英文字母标出。
各数字或字母后均为一句点,空出一格后再打该项内容的第一个字母;处于同一等级的纲目,其上下行左边必须对齐。
需要注意的是,同等重要的纲目必须是两个以上,即:有Ⅰ应有Ⅱ,有A应有B,以此类推。
如果英文论文提纲较长,需两页纸,则第二页须在右上角用小写罗马数字标出页码,即ii(第一页无需标页码)。
三、英语论文正文
有标题页和提纲页的英语论文,其正文第一页的规范格式为:论文标题居中,其位置距打印纸顶端约5cm,距正文第一行约。
段首字母须缩进五格,即从第六格打起。
